Matthew is passionate about serving God, especially here at Discovery and in the Tri-Cities. His wife, Sarah, says he is a wonderful husband and amazing father to their four children. When Matthew isn't working or spending time with his family, he loves to cook. He even learned to make homemade bacon, which was in short supply when they were missionaries in Taiwan. ELLIOTT GREGORY

Elliott has been in full time youth ministry for more than a decade and a part of the Discovery Church staff since 2015. His passion for water balloons, messy games and sharing the story of Jesus have served him well as a youth pastor (and frankly leave him few other career options). In addition to serving at Discovery, Elliott is an adjunct youth ministry instructor at King University and an unlicensed pyrotechnician.

RAQUEL MCLAMB
Children’s Ministry Director

Raquel has been involved in children’s ministry since the age of 16 and while she doesn’t have any children of her own, she is beyond blessed with the gift of loving on more than 100 kids each week! Raquel’s greatest desire is to see kids give their lives to Jesus. If you don’t see Raquel’s car parked at the back of the building on campus, she’s likely at Starbucks (salted caramel cold brew, baby!), spinning on her Peloton, or snuggling with her pup, Cooper and precious husband, Andy. 

CARL BRICKEY
His Story Pastor
Full Time

Carl is an avid outdoorsman who loves to play the guitar and spend time with his precious wife, Kathryn, and their two boys, Ryder and Rowan. His love for God’s word and his passion for finding Christ in everyday things shines through in all that he does, making him the perfect pastor to help others find their place in God’s story. If you’re looking for Carl and he’s not in his office or out ministering to our Discovery family, he is probably somewhere making a cup of pour-over coffee.

ERIC CUDDY
Worship Pastor
Part Time

Eric has been in ministry for more than 20 years, most of which has been in worship ministry. Eric believes worship is what prepares the heart and mind to hear and receive God’s word. He spends his days running his business, running his kids, and maybe running to the golf course. Eric and his wife, Lindsey, have four daughters, one dog, and a granddog.

Pam and her husband, Mike, moved to Bristol in 2016 after 20 years in medical missions in Kenya. Mike is the CEO for the Christian Medical and Dental Associations located in Bristol. They began attending Discovery Church in 2018 and have enjoyed serving in the church. Pam and Mike have 4 adult children, with only one living at home now. Pam enjoys walking, biking, gardening, and traveling to new places with her husband.
